Commercial to Residential - the conversation continues (March 2025)
In February, WRO shared a long write-up on Whitpain’s effort to allow certain commercial properties to change to multi-family housing (apartments, condos, perhaps some townhouses). Last year, Whitpain had a consultant create a report on the situation, and the Supervisors voted to attached the report to the Comprehensive Plan. At the February 18 meeting of the Board of Supervisors, township manger Eric Traub gave a presentation of their thoughts and set the table for what’s to come.
